I am, first and foremostly, a Christian. Here is my confession of faith.
Secondly, I am a family man. Family is fundamental to both a proper realization of human nature and Christian practice.
Thirdly, I’m the pastor of Victory Baptist Church. By God’s providential grace, I answered the call to VBC in early 2019 and haven’t looked back. Most of what you will get here, I’ve gleaned during pastoral ministry, and it—in some way—will serve my family and my minisrty.
Fourthly, I am a writer and podcaster. I’ve been writing and podcasting since the earliest days of my Christian experience. Since then, my emphasis have morphed from outreach and apologetics to theoretical-practical theology. However, a proper understanding of theology appropriates both outreach and apologetics and gives them their proper place.
This website is somewhat of a personal retrieval project for biblical, theoretical, and pastoral theology as our predecessors conceived of it.
